Software Engineer - internal tools (Tulsa, OK)

Nova Harbor Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Tulsa, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
