Software Engineer - internal tools (Toledo, OH)

Ironwood Juniper Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about referrals into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
