Software Engineer - internal tools (Toledo, OH)

Cedar Cross Facilities is a facilities company in Toledo with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
