Software Engineer - internal tools (Tampa, FL)

Cedar Nest Financial Associates is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory reports into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
