Software Engineer - internal tools (Tampa, FL)

Ironwood Junction Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about food distribution into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
