Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

Northwind Cedar Legal Group Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
