Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Oak Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
