Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Umber Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
