Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Bright Linden Facilities Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 598 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
