Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

Stonegate Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in St. Louis focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
