Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Juniper Facilities Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
