Software Engineer - internal tools (Spokane, WA)

Ironwood Amber Medical is a Spokane company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
