Software Engineer - internal tools (Spokane, WA)

Amberfield Birch Telecom Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
