Software Engineer - internal tools (San Antonio, TX)

Nova Haven Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Antonio. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
