Software Engineer - internal tools (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Harbor Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around San Antonio, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
