Software Engineer - internal tools (Salt Lake City, UT)

Redstone Corner Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Salt Lake City, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
