Software Engineer - internal tools (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Bright Water Authority Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
