Software Engineer - internal tools (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Ridge Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 371 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
