Software Engineer - internal tools (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Amber Pharma Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
