Software Engineer - internal tools (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Ivory Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
