Software Engineer - internal tools (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Keystone Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
