Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Bluepeak Sparrow Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 617 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
