Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Silverline Cobalt Medical designs and makes medical devices in Reno, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about production lots into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
