Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Cobalt Medical Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
