Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Rivermark Orchard Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
