Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Community Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
