Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Bright Ridge Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
