Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Highbridge Willow Medical Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 158 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
