Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Silverline Meridian Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
