Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Ironwood Thistle Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Sacramento, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
