Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Silverline Orchard Care Services provides in-home and community support in Memphis. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 791 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
