Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Iron Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
