Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Bright Ridge Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Little Rock, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
