Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Clearpath Thistle Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 832 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
