Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Foxglove Ivory Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
