Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Fernwood Fox Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Miami. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 872 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
