Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Rivermark Quill Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
