Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Clearpath Junction Community Partners runs community programmes across Providence, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 783 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
