Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Bright Quarry Care Services supports families and individuals in Portland with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
