Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Redstone Juniper Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Philadelphia, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
