Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Glen Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
