Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Westbrook Birch Care Services Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
