Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Technologies and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
