Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Ironwood Umber Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
