Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Clear Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about intake forms into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
