Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Glen Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinic supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
