Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Birch Care Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
