Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Silverline Ember Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
