Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak North Pharma Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
