Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Ironwood Basin Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Las Vegas, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
